HVACBIRD

Privacy Policy · Updated September 20, 2026

Your research, your choice.

This policy describes the public HVACBird website and its current analytics setup. We want to be clear about what information the site can collect and how you can control optional analytics.

Information from your visit

Hosting and security services may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, requested pages, time of access, browser or device details, and error logs. If you email or call us, we receive the details you choose to provide and use them to respond, review corrections, and handle your request. HVACBird does not currently provide visitor accounts or collect payment information through this site.

Optional Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-JS09Q18DN7) to understand visits, popular pages, and how people use the site. The Google tag is not loaded until you select “Allow analytics” in our notice. If you allow it, Google may use cookies and similar identifiers and receive page views, browser/device information, approximate location, and interaction data. Google handles that data under its own privacy policy. We do not intentionally send contact form details, email addresses, or phone numbers to Analytics.

Choose “Decline analytics” to keep the tag off when you first visit. Your choice is stored locally in your browser when storage is available so we can respect it on later visits. Use “Privacy choices” in the footer to change it. If you withdraw permission after previously allowing analytics, we disable further Analytics collection in that browser and do not load the tag on subsequent visits; withdrawal cannot undo data already received by Google. Clearing browser storage may reset your choice.

Other sites and service providers

We use hosting and infrastructure providers to operate the website. Links to manufacturer, AHRI, retailer, or other external sites take you to services with their own policies, cookies, and collection practices. We do not control those third-party websites.

Retention and requests

We keep correspondence and operational data as reasonably needed to respond to requests, maintain the catalogue, and protect the site. Our providers may retain technical or analytics data according to their settings and policies. To ask about the information you provided, request a correction or deletion where applicable, or raise a privacy concern, contact info@hvacbird.com. Do not send sensitive information unless it is necessary to explain your request.

Changes

As HVACBird adds features, we may update this policy and its date. We will describe new collection practices here rather than assuming they already exist. See our Terms or Contact pages for more information.
